Product Introduction

Smarthon SmartPlant IoT kit aids students in learning to conduct experiments in plant studies and optimize the care for them. You can become an amateur botanist by studying the elements of caring for plants by using sensors and actuators to create exciting projects such as automatic irrigation systems based on soil moisture.

Have you ever imagined how to design your own smart plant? This set can make at least 5 smart plant set items. The following are some reference examples. Promoting plant growth can be divided into four basic elements, including light, water, temperature, and humidity.

Grow LED Light Color Control

Create a grow light that can be turned to different colors using the buttons on micro:bit board.

Automatic Irrigation

Create an automatic irrigation system that will water the plant whenever the soil moisture sensor senses the lack of water in the soil.

Environment Monitoring Display

Mount and LCD display that will show the real time plant data such as the environment temperature, humidity and the soil moisture.

Create an automatic system that humidifies the air whenever there is lack of it in the environment.

Plant Health Data Monitoring

Create a plant health monitoring system that will track the environment's humidity, temperature, light intensity and the plant’s soil moisture. The data is then sent and stored in thingspeak where it can be remotely monitored and analyzed over long periods of time.

With the great design, it is made by using acrylic material. It is very fun that the students can build a pot for the plant. Besides, it is good for the plant pot with mounting holes so that it can mount different electronics on the pot, like LCD, temperature and humidity sensor and grow plant LED light. Besides, the great stand is flexible and height can be adjusted so that users can adjust it based on different height of the plant.

Soil & Seeds Included

The common problem with these types of projects is that the idea might sound good, but it can be such a hassle for a teacher to buy the pots, seeds, and all additional materials to even make it happen. However, our kit provides you a complete experience. We include all the necessary components such as a custom plant pot, tray, seeds, and soil. You can start creating right away without any barriers in front of you.

Smart IoT Planting

The kit lets you also delve into the advanced Internet of Things. Our custom Smarthon IoT bit is equipped with an ESP 32 WiFi module that can connect to the internet and communicate with other objects. For instance, one of our projects lets you create a plant health monitoring system that records plant data and stores the data in the cloud.

Plant Pot Model Design
