Functions and Benefits

PC/mobile and micro:bit are connected to LAN network through WAN. PC/mobile will send a custom command. When the micro:bit receive the command, it will turn on the LED light.

Getting Started
1. Add the Extension
2. Network Connection
Load the program to the micro:bit and connect the micro:bit to the booster.
When the connection is successful, the IP address would be shown.
Block Code
Wi-Fi booster need to connect to internet via Wi-Fi.
3. Local Area Network Control (LAN)
PC/mobile and micro:bit are connected to LAN network through Wi-Fi. PC/mobile will send a custom command. When the micro:bit receive the command, it will turn on the LED light.
***Before we control the micro:bit, please make sure your micro:bit and devices (PC/Mobile) are connected to the SAME Wi-Fi.

Press micro:bit Button A to start LAN remote control.
IP Address
C. Send custom command in web browser
The custom command URL is:
http://YourIPAdress/?mode=inboundcommand&string=YourCustomCommand
Open your web browser and input the custom command URL, then press “enter”.
For example, if your IP address is : 192.168.137.109, then custom LAN command URL would be :
http://192.168.137.109/?mode=inboundcommand&string=Light_Turn_On
Troubleshooting Notes
Problem
The servos are operating abnormally.
Explanation
1. This product can only support up to 3 servos. Please make sure you are not connecting more than 3 servos.
2. Low charge of battery may cause abnormal servo behaviour. Please replace the batteries with new ones.
